Message I have significant autocross experience, and have my Z set up quite well for it. I don't need to get into a pissing contest on here about it, and Guapo is generally clueless when he responds to me about pretty much anything.

Your loyalty to Megan came when you made comments like requesting specific parts from them (as if there weren't any decent ones made already by other companies, and you were disappointed that Megan wouldn't make any and you really wanted to stick with their brand), purchasing a custom spring rate from them, commenting on their customer services, etc. The irony in loyalty to a company that exists to betray other companies by copying their parts and creating cheap counterfeits is self-explanatory.

And make no mistake, I'd never be upset for paying more for a product when: it supports a vendor who is innovating instead of stealing, isn't made in China as a cheap, crap part, is designed by someone who owns one of the fastest Zs that does this type of racing, is purchased from a vendor with excellent customer service, the part isn't going to fail on me, etc. etc.

My point about your tires is that you're going to have a lot of drag with them, whereas if you bought some narrower autocross tires, you'd have less drag and would stick even better. If you were accelerating through turns and had a lot of power to break your tires loose, then I could understand. But keep in mind, I drive one of these too, and I autocross with it, so I know exactly how they respond in turns, and my 255s and 265s stick to the ground quite well even when I hammer on my slow NA engine.

Even Steve (Guapo), who's attempting to stick up for you for whatever reason, only runs 275s all around on the track, and he has a TT.

Read my profile and you can see exactly what my mods are. At least then you won't make asinine assumptions about me overpaying for parts, not cheaping out on parts like you did, building a car that can perform well at autocross events, etc.

Cheers,
JBrobst,

The woman with blue nuts.
